FS2002 Royal Jordanian Boeing 707-320C by David Brightwell.

The Boeing 707 appeared in a variety of colour shemes with Royal Jordanian. This aircraft, JY-ADP "City of Amman", was delivered in 1971 and had a successful career with RJA, ending its days in cargo-only configuration. These colours were designed by Landor & Associates.

NOTE: There is a slight incompatibility between the model and the textures for FS2002. As a consequence, a white stripe appears at the top of the fuselage at certain view angles. There is nothing I can do about this - sorry. I have partly remedied the issue by adding dark texture to the underside of the fuselage.

The aircraft is best enjoyed with a proper 707 panel (Paul Golding's is excellent) and appropriate sound (Daniel Careri's sound is highly recommended). If you enjoy this repaint, check out TAP707.zip from the same site you found this one.

Many thanks to the Historic Jetliners Group for allowing me to use their excellent model.

Installation
------------

Once you have unzipped the download to a temporary folder, just copy or move the whole "RJA 707" folder to:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FS2002\aircraft

That's it!

Start FS2002, and you will find the aircraft under "Boeing/707-320/Royal Jordanian"

The aircraft is supplied with default 737 panel and sound. For maximum enjoyment, please install a proper 707 panel and sound pack of your choice.

Conditions of use
-----------------

You may repaint this aircraft for personal use if you wish. However, if you intend to make your repaint available on the internet, you MUST contact the Historic Jetliners Group at www.SurClaro.com/hjg for permission to do so. HJG operate a policy whereby no repaint must be attempted unless it has been established that a similar repaint is not in progress, or is planned, by any member of the HJG team. You are advised to seek permission prior to commencing a repaint. Please respect the wishes of HJG.

I went to a lot of trouble to reproduce the "Royal Jordanian" lettering and Arabic script on the fuselage. If you wish to make use of this lettering and script, I would be grateful if you could credit me in the readme.

This is freeware - help preserve our free simulator fun by not trying to make money from this or any other freeware package, or by supplying it to a site that will. Thank you.
